BC Crawley United sit at the top of the league

BC Crawley United sit top of the league after beating Littlehampton Bisons 76 -72 in the dyeing minutes to pick up their eighth win from as many matches.

It was a frantic win as team captain Tadas Domkus returned from a three match ban to score nine points in the last ten minutes and Giedrius Ceginskas made one free throw and very important offensive rebound in 7.8 seconds left to play.

Crawley were behind at the end of every quarter before they won the last one, after the first quarter they were loosing 24-13, but in the second quarter coach Donatas Jurgelionis made some tactical changes and substitutions which saw a vast improvement.

Crawley left it late whilst there losing by 70-67 when Domkus and Ceginskas took matters into there own hands to force the win.

This narrow victory of only four points now means that United are still unbeaten and are in first place with 24 points.
