Walk to help study centres

I FEEL I am privileged to be a Teen Queen UK 2011 finalist and one of my categories for this is Miss Charity Princess, in which I am raising money for MAD Foundation (Registered UK Charity No. 1111805), which specialises in enabling country development projects throughout the world.

All the money I raise will help to build more classrooms, school toilets, computer and technical skills workshops and will also help support children’s centres in the Volta Region of Ghana.

I would really like to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than us, therefore I will be doing a sponsored walk on August 21 from Essentials News in Rusper Road, Horsham, to raise as much money as I can for this.

The education in England is free and little do we realise the value of it until we see young, helpless children suffering without the privileges we have.

Every individual has the right to have an education and basic sanitation facilities and the money raised by this walk will bring them one step closer to a better future.

To donate between now and August 30 visit www.justgiving.com/KarishmaKarpalTeenQueen

I would highly appreciate it if you could donate generously as this is for a good cause and you will be helping to make a difference in many people’s lives. Everyone deserves a brighter future.
