Support for Epilepsy Action

Epilepsy Action works across the UK to help improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. I’m the new community fundraiser for this region and this National Volunteering Week (June 1-7) I’m looking for volunteers who would like to get involved in our work. I’ll be working on all sorts of events.

Every year, 32,000 people are diagnosed with epilepsy, that’s 87 every single day. And there are over 65,061 people in the South East with the condition. Anyone can develop epilepsy, at any time in their life. In fact, at Epilepsy Action we help over 1.1m people each year through our helpline, website and local support.

I’d love to hear from anyone who would like to get involved with Epilepsy Action’s fundraising work. More information can be found at
