LETTER: Testing drivers to breaking point

I was very disturbed to read your report: ‘Horsham roads second most lethal in country’ (County Times, June 12).

There are those who would blame the state of the roads but others would blame the appalling standards of driving in the county and a complete absence (it seems) of traffic police.

So if it is like that now what is it going to be like during the A24 road works over the next 18 months?

Then if this flawed development North of the A264 goes ahead with all its additional traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, roundabout changes etc….. patience, tempers, driving etiquette are all going to be tested to breaking point.
