LETTER: Share impact of air traffic

Think it is time to remind the Gatwick Airport expansion plans protesters what it’s like living near Heathrow as many of my family do, having lived there for generations before the airport existed.

Imagine not even at times being able to put your washing out on the line - air pollution and noise is already at maximum.

Surely this could be shared a little and would not have the same dramatic effect. Are most complainers the people who actually fly on planes?
