LETTER: Plan laughable, but not funny

Collecting rubbish fortnightly, instead of weekly, is so obviously at odds with people’s needs that it’s laughable.

But not funny.

So, why not let the council be part of the fun by sharing your rubbish with them by leaving on the doorstep of their offices?

It would only cost a small portion of the alleged £100,000 pa savings to clear it away, as it’d be a single collection point.

And it wouldn’t bother the councillors as they’re above it all.
