I have written the following open letter to Ray Dawe, leader of Horsham District Council.
Dear Mr Dawe
There are now only a few days left in Horsham District’s consultation about Policy 14 with the plans to develop the site north of the A264 for housing and a commercial/industrial park.
I am concerned that Horsham residents have not had the opportunity to meet you, Mrs Vickers, Mr Crowley and senior planners face to face about your plans and even more concerned that we are having to ask you so late in the consultation for such a meeting.
Will you please arrange a town meeting in the Drill Hall on a date and time when you know that busy working people can attend, publicise the event and ensure that key personnel are present. I am sending this as an open letter to the West Sussex County Times.
Dr GEOFFREY RICHARDSON
