Volunteers returned to Swan Walk shopping centre in Horsham in December to offer their gift wrap services to raise money for Shooting Star Chase. Over 13 days of wrapping non- stop every day from 10am to 4pm the team raised a fantastic £2,712.

Since its launch the seasonal gift wrapping service at Swan Walk has raised nearly £10,000 to support local families in need.

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and supporting their families. They rely on the generosity of supporters to offer care to 650 families every year.

It costs £9.5m a year for Shooting Star Chase to provide families with 800 hours of care every year from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Shooting Star Chase Hospice is a fantastic local resource which we are always happy to support. The incredible amount raised this year pays testament to Sue Watts and her wonderful team of volunteers are who give up their time to run the pop-up.

We would also like to thank our generous shoppers supported the initiative by bringing their Christmas shopping to be wrapped.
