After ‘74 out of 1,000’ in West Sussex responded to a LINK Report (‘Care cuts ‘condemning’ people to live as hermits’ / ‘New care schemes rated highly...’, County Times October 11), councillor Peter Bradbury claims: ‘One can assume this was because they (ie 926 non-respondents) are relatively satisfied’.
One can assume no such thing.
Such perverse logic by this former WSCC cabinet member for public protection is astonishing.
If ten West Sussex ‘customers’ turn up to protest at County Hall’s cold-hearted and morally-obscene cuts to disability benefits and public services, does that mean all ‘customers’ in West Sussex agree with the cuts ?
