Caring for our Horsham community asset

The Friends of New Street Gardens have been running for over ten years and the number of ‘Friends’ have reduced to three people.

Liz Scally, the chairman, has just left the group and it is only myself to keep an eye on the shrub and flower borders. The other two people control the gate locking.

It does not help that some people in the community continue to destroy plants and remove branches from trees, and also leave litter spread around when a waste bin is provided.

The gardens are a community asset to be enjoyed by everyone.

Please volunteer some of your time to enable the garden to survive.

Please contact the parks department and speak to John and Sharon on Horsham 215254.
