Branch is at risk of closing down

Horsham’s NCT (National Childbirth Trust) branch urgently needs volunteers to join the local committee – without them the branch faces closure.

The NCT has previously been a thriving network for pregnant women and new parents in the Horsham area, but will soon be without key committee members so volunteers for these roles are desperately needed.

The NCT is committed to providing a vital support service in Horsham but is run solely by volunteers.

The group is responsible for a wide range of local events, activities and services in the area; from nearly new sales, where parents can pick up a range of fantastic bargains, to regular coffee mornings for parents to meet and socialise with their babies and toddlers.

Volunteering for the NCT need not take up much of your time. We just need enthusiastic parents (or grandparents) who can spare their time to help out.

Even a few hours a week could help keep this vital service thriving. As well as being a brilliant way to meet like-minded parents in the local community, volunteering is also a useful asset to any CV.

We really don’t want local parents to be forced to travel out of their local community to neighbouring towns such as Crawley, when the branch could continue to thrive in Horsham, if we had some additional volunteer support.
