Young sport stars are lined up for success

YOUNG budding sports starts have until Sunday April 1 to get their applications into Set4Success, a Horsham District partnership which sponsors young people in a variety of sports.

The charity, run by Horsham Rotary Club, Horsham District Council and local businesses and schools, has also announced the winners of 14 awards given this February.

As well as receiving a monetary award, the winners get a pass to DC Leisure’s facilities for one year and will be invited to a red-carpet award ceremony in May.

Selected from 27 applications from a panel representing some of Horsham’s sports bodies, they cover a number of disciplines and are for young people either at school or college.

Set4Success, as well as organising sporting events in the coming months, is also hunting for business sponsors and supporters.
