Woman taken to hospital after car hits tree in Horsham

A woman was taken to hospital after a car hit a tree in Horsham last night (Wednesday October 21).

Emergency services were called to the crash on the A24, near Robin Hood Lane, at 8.15pm.

A fire service spokesman said a woman was released from the vehicle by crews from Horsham and Crawley.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics and was later taken to hospital.
