WISBOROUGH Green farmers’ and village market celebrated its tenth anniversary this month.
Alison Midwinter, secretary of the market committee, said that all the customers and stall holders at a market event on March 8 enjoyed a slice of a cake especially made for the occasion.
She said: “Mid-morning we toasted our success and thanked all those past and present who have contributed to its success and continuity.
“We have up to 30 stalls selling a wide range of high quality local and home-made produce, crafts and gifts, from lamb to hand made bags and jewellery. as well as tea, coffee and home-made cakes provided by Macmillan volunteers.”
The market is always held between 9am and 12.30pm on the second Thursday of the month in the village hall or around the village pond if weather permits and the next market will be held on Thursday April 12.
