The Dunsfold Aerodrome (home to BBC TV’s Top Gear) is the perfect place for a show of this kind.

The airfield provides an ideal venue to show off dozens of classic cars and motorbikes from around the world, giving them chance to open the throttle and parade in style.

The ‘wings’ section includes a host of amazing air displays from some of the best pilots in the world.

Wings & Wheels has lined up a once in a lifetime air display with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s (CWHM) prized Avro Lancaster which will be flying at the Show.

The home of Wings & Wheels, Dunsfold Aerodrome, has strong historical ties with the Canadians. The Aerodrome began life on 11 May 1942 when the First Canadian Army – mainly the 2nd Battalion Royal Canadian Engineers - began construction of the emergency airfield.

After just 20 weeks the site was officially handed over to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) on 16 October 1942. During the War the Aerodrome was home to the RCAF 400, 414 and 430 Squadrons.

Plans for the 10th annual Wings & Wheels got off to a flying start a few months ago with confirmation from the RAF that the Red Arrows, Tucano and Tutor as well as iconic legends from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane - will all be part of the weekend’s aviation line-up.

The world famous, record-holding display team the Royal Signals White Helmets will headline the Wings & Wheels Stunt Zone.

The team of 30 volunteer soldiers from the Corps will perform spectacular feats of balance, death defying crossover rides and outstanding acrobatics in thrilling arena displays on handbuilt British Millennium Triumph 750cc motorcycles.

With dozens of static displays, a host of food and drink options, plus numerous other aerials displays, this is certainly a fun-packed day out.

Wings & Wheels was not only founded to celebrate the long history of British aviation and motoring, but to assist the fundraising efforts of local charities. Since its inception in 2005, the Show has helped raise some £280,000 aand this year’s beneficiaries are: Brooklands Museum Trust Ltd and Help for Heroes.
