William Penn School fete postponed

Come to Merry Medieval England at William Penn School

William Penn School’s annual summer fete has been postponed and will now take place on Friday 29th June from 3pm to 7pm.

The planning for the fete has been inspired by a medieval theme to bring the day to life and celebrate our heritage.

The school fete committee chaired by Nicola Ludlow Monk and Fran Reid reluctantly made the choice to change the original date of 16th June in the face of recent heavy rain and poor forecasts for the weekend.

Fran says: “The programme of events will remain largely unchanged.

“The magician can still attend and the activities and stalls will be there as planned.

“We are confident the fete will be a success despite the unexpected alteration!”

All members of the local community are warmly invited to come along on the Friday and enjoy an afternoon in merry medieval England.

There will be stalls, arena events, magician, barbecue, bar and tea tent.

Adults entry just £1 with children admitted free.

Free parking has kindly been provided and is located off A272. Turn right coming from Buck Barn before you reach the Coolham crossroads.
