A popular village Christmas festival is back for its tenth anniversary this weekend.

The tenth BilliFest Family Fun Day and Christmas Fayre is set to be held in the heart of Billingshurst on Saturday December 5 and promises to be the best ever.

The event, organised by the Billingshurst Community Partnership, is the community’s major winter event attracting over 1,500 people with entertainment for all ages.

There will be more than 30 stallholders displaying their goods in Billinghurst’s High Street and Jengers Mead, a raffle with more than 50 prizes, a Santa’s grotto, music and food on offer.

Ken Johnson, chairman of the partnership’s organising team said: “We begin preparing Jengers Mead car park on Friday night and start erecting the gazebos at 6am on Saturday morning in time for our visitors and families from 9am until 4pm.

“This will be a BilliFest not to miss and a great event for the children and for buying Christmas presents.”
