Hundreds of women and youngsters turned out to take part in Horsham’s Race for Life today (Sunday June 7).
Horsham Park turned into a sea of pink as young and old took part in the 5km event - running, jogging or just walking.
It wasn’t about who finished first, it was all about raising as much money for Cancer Research.
And around £90,000 was expected to be raised by the 1.400 who took part in the Horsham event.
Check out our live blog from the event, with lots of photos and readers’ Tweets.

People from all over the county turned up to take part in the Horsham event and in very warm conditions, completed the course.
Some event had the energy to cross the line with a cartwheel or front flip.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, in partnership with Tesco, is a women-only series of 5k, events which raise millions of pounds every year to help beat cancer sooner by funding life-saving research.
Money raised through Race for Life allows Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists to advance research which is helping to save the lives of men, women and children across Sussex.
Cancer survival rates have doubled since the 1970s and Cancer Research UK’s work has been at the heart of that progress. But more funds and more supporters are needed to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
