VIDEO: Drill Hall art exhibition sells almost £5,000
Almost £5,000’s worth of art was sold by the end of a local artists’ exhibition first day yesterday (Aug 15) at Drill Hall, Horsham.
More than 30 items - ranging from paintings, to sculptures and pottery - were sold yesterday and during a private party the night before.
John Davies, president of the Association of Sussex Artists, said today: “The figures look promising but it’s still early days.”
The society’s 101st exhibition features 616 paintings and sculptures on display and for sale at Drill Hall until Saturday August 24.
