VIDEO: Big-name act for Wild Life festival

Another major act has been added to the line up for this year's Wild Life festival at Shoreham Airport.

Australian collective The Avalanches is the latest big name to be added to the line up for the festival, which is curated by Disclosure and Rudimental.

The Melbourne-based three-piece is best known for debut ‘plunderphonics’ album Since I Left You, which one The Avalanches critical acclaim.

They will join other well-known acts – including Bastille, Ice Cube. Annie Mac and Busta Rhymes – at the festival, which will be held on Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12, with The Avalanches taking to the main stage on the festival’s first day.

Rudimental has also premiered a preview mix ahead of this festival with Clash Magazine, which can be listened to by clicking here.

The 2016 line-up was first revealed earlier in the year, and also James Bay, Carl Cox and De La Soul. Announcing the acts, drum and bass band Rudimental said: “It is with great pleasure that we announce round two of us and Disclosure’s Wild Life festival. Last year was incredible and we can’t wait to do it all over again! Do not miss out because this is going to be a very special weekend.”

And electronic music duo Disclosure said: “Heeeeere we go again!! Wild Life festival is back for 2016 and with a line up to knock your winter socks off and your summer dancing shoes on... Hurry up, June!”

Last year’s inaugural Wild Life festival attracted thousands of people from right across Sussex and beyond and was hailed a resounding success by many, with the good-natured crowd being singled out for special mention.
