UPDATE: Woman dies after Horsham balcony fall

A 47-year-old woman who fell from a 30ft high balcony in Horsham last week has died, police have said.

Emergency services were called to a flat in Bishopric Court at 1.45pm on Wednesday August 26.

Paramedics and members of the Sussex, Surrey and Kent Air Ambulance team attended the incident along with the police and treated the woman at the scene.

She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said the woman died in hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 30).

They added the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
