Police said the crash was reported at around 1.20pm and saw two motorcycles and a Volkswagen Golf collide.
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said one of the motorcyclists, a man in his 50s, suffered a leg injury and was taken by ambulance to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.
They added the other motorcyclist sustained a wrist injury and was treated at the scene.
The road was closed for about an hour in both directions and was re-opened shortly after 2.30pm.
