A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a crash in Horsham town centre.

Emergency services were called to a collision between a van and a teenager in Albion Way, near St John’s Church, at 4.35pm on Friday October 9.

An ambulance and a paramedic car were sent to the scene.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the teenager sustained leg and back injuries and was treated at the scene.

He was taken to East Surrey Hospital, in Redhill, for further checks.
