UPDATE: ‘No life-threatening injuries’ from Arundel crash
The A284 London Road remains closed while emergency services deal with a head-on collision between two cars.
The accident happened just after 6am this morning, Wednesday, July 15, just north of the turning to Arundel town centre.

Hide AdA statement from Sussex Police said: “The road has been closed between the A27 town centre roundabout and the A29 Whiteways roundabout and is expected to remain shut until at least 8.30am.
“The driver of a Ford Fiesta involved was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters.
“The other driver was able to get out of his car, a Toyota Auris, unaided. Both have been taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
“At this stage neither driver is thought to have life-threatening injuries.”
