The A280 Long Furlong has been re-opened following a serious crash earlier today (July 24).
Police closed the road in both directions after a collision between a car and lorry at around 12.30pm.
The crash took place between the A27 and A24 and the road was closed for almost five hours whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
It was re-opened again at around 5.15pm.
Firefighters attended the scene and released a woman from one of the vehicles using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The woman was later taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
