Trees cut down next to A24 near Broadbridge Heath

A vast number of trees have been cut down by the side of the road.

A spokesperson for Horsham District Council said: “The trees are being cleared along the northbound verge of the A24, close to Broadbridge Heath and Tesco, to prepare for the ongoing residential developments to the west of Horsham.

“The works are to allow for the new A24 junction, its slip roads and the associated verges.”
