Woman suffers ‘serious’ head injury in bicycle crash in Dunsfold

A female cyclist was airlifted to hospital with a ‘serious’ head injury after coming off her bicycle in Dunsfold on Friday (August 7).

The woman, aged in her 40s, was flown to Southampton General Hospital after the incident at around 8.15pm.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said two ambulances and four paramedic cars were sent to the scene of the incident.

The spokesperson added that the woman was ‘seriously hurt’ after sustaining the ‘significant’ injury.
