UPDATE: Storrington road re-opened after crash

A road in Storrington has been re-opened after a crash earlier this morning (Wednesday September 30).

The A283 Washington Road in the village was shut near the Water Lane junction, because of an accident involving two vehicles.

Emergency services were called just before 9.45am.

One man was released by fire crews and was taken to Worthing Hospital by ambulance after suffering a neck injury.

Police said there were no serious injuries and the road has been re-opened.
