UPDATE: M25 delays after lane is blocked

Motorists faced long delays on the M25 this morning (Tuesday December 29) after one lane was blocked.

There was queuing traffic on the motorway anti-clockwise between junction 8, A217 (Reigate) and junction 6, A22 (Godstone).

This was due to a broken down vehicle and an earlier vehicle fire which blocked a lane.

The incident has been cleared now and traffic is running freely.
