Tributes have been paid to a popular Horsham dentist who died aged 34 after battling with a long illness.

Claire Burtenshaw, who worked at East Mews Dental Practice in East Street, passed away on October 20.

Colleague Andrew Tidman said: “She had a large and extremely loyal following of patients at the East Mews Dental Practice, many of whom continued to ask her whilst she underwent treatment.

“Her patients knew her not only for her talent as a clinician, but also for her genuine kindness and entirely natural ability to engage with the young and old alike.”
