Teenagers taken to hospital after Shermanbury crash

Three teenagers from the Horsham district required hospital treatment after a car hit a tree in Shermanbury on Tuesday (February 10).

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Broadbridge Heath, and his two passengers, an 18-year old woman from Henfield and a 17-year old girl from Mannings Heath, were treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for minor injuries and were later discharged, police said.

A Peugeot 206 was travelling southbound on the A281 Brighton Road at 10.50pm when it left the road and collided with a tree.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting serial 1568 of 10/2.
