Teenager injured after car and motorbike crash

A 17-year-old boy was injured after a car and motorbike crashed on the A24, police have said.

Emergency services were called to a collision at the junction with Bell Road near Warnham about 9.55am on Sunday (July 17).

Police said a 17-year-old boy from Washington, who was driving the motorbike, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg and wrist.

A 43-year-old woman from Warnham, who was driving the green Mazda car involved in the crash, was not injured.

Witnesses are asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 498 of 17/07.
