Here is what the roads look like across Sussex this evening (Thursday, May 28).

An accident in Billingshurst involving a single vehicle earlier this afternoon has partially closed the A272 at A29 (Platts roundabout), according to the AA.

There are also delays and heavier traffic than normal on the A259 in Marine Parade in both directions between B2185 Grand Avenue and A23 Old Steine (Palace Pier) in Brighton, according to the AA.

Coronavirus travel restrictions have also closed Madeira Drive and Dukes Mound between Palace Pier and Sussex Square in Brighton.

The road is closed due to construction on Croft Road both ways between Croft Road and Nevill Road in Crowborough.

The road is also shut due to water main work on the B2165 in both directions from the A28 to Watermill Lane near Beckley.
