Sussex traffic report – the latest incidents, roadworks, and restrictions this evening

The roads are currently quiet this evening as lockdown continues to reduce the number of vehicles out and about.

Madeira Drive and Dukes Mound in Brighton are still closed due to coronavirus travel restrictions between Palace Pier and Sussex Square.

In Eastbourne there are temporary traffic signals along the A259 due to gas main work on Seaside at Woodgate Road.

Also in Eastbourne there are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on Atlantic Drive both ways at Prince William Parade.

In Lewes there are temporary traffic signals due to construction on B2193 Southover High Street near The Swan Inn. Outside The Swan Inn.

In Hastings there are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on A259 Grosvenor Crescent at Grosvenor Gardens.

Over in Worthing there are temporary traffic signals due to telecoms work on Rowlands Road at St Valerie Road.

Just outside Chichester there are temporary traffic signals due to construction on A259 Main Road at Salthill Road.

At Crawley there are temporary traffic signals due to water main work on Horsham Road around Forest Road.

And in Horsham there are temporary traffic signals due to gas main work on St Leonard’s Road at Comptons Lane.
