Pub fire

A PUB on Handcross Road in Plummers Plain has suffered damage to its kitchen after a fire yesterday afternoon (Wednesday February 1).

Firefighters arrived on the scene at 4.40pm to find smoke issuing from the rear of an oven.

Ten per cent of the kitchen has been destroyed by fire and 40 per cent by smoke.

Crews from Horsham and Crawley left the incident just after 5.30pm.
