Motorcyclist suffers ‘serious injuries’ in Horsham

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after a collision in Orchard Way, Horsham, on Saturday November 26.

Emergency services, including a Sussex Air Ambulance, were called to the scene at the Orchard Road junction around 10.30am.

The 49-year-old rider suffered serious but non-life threatening leg and pelvis injuries.

It took the air ambulance just 12 minutes to reach Millais Secondary School from their Dunsfold base.

Paramedics treated him at the scene before he was taken to the Royal County Hospital in Brighton by South East Coast Ambulance crew.

The driver of the silver Vauxhall Zafira was not hurt.

Sussex Police are seeking witnesses and ask anyone with information to contact 101 quoting serial number 0426 of 26/11/11.
