A man has been taken to hospital after two cars collided outside Pulborough Railway Station this morning (Wednesday January 28).
The two cars were travelling in opposite directions on the A283 Station Road when the crash happened at about 8.45am.
One car was sent off the road by the collision. Its driver, a man, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut from the car by firefighters who removed the roof to release him.
He suffered head injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton by ambulance.
Two other people involved in the crash were treated for shock.
Fire crews have stabilised the cars.
