Horsham woman needs 19 stitches after brutal dog attack

THE OWNER of a dog thought to have viciously attacked a woman in Horsham has attended the town police station this morning after seeing a picture of the victim on the front page of today’s County Times (Thursday February 2).

Jacqui Sweeney had to have 19 stitches in her upper lip after she was mauled by a Boxer in Memorial Gardens, behind Sainsbury’s store off Worthing Road on Sunday morning.

In an exclusive interview, Jacqui explains how the animal ran straight towards her, jumped into the air before sinking its teeth into her face and dragging her to the ground.
