Horsham man cut out of car

A HORSHAM man had to be cut out of a car and taken to hospital following a collision on Five Oaks Road, near Slinfold, on Saturday October 29.

The 23-year-old was driving a blue Honda when it collided with a Skoda around 5am.

Emergency services arrived at the scene where fire crews from Horsham, Billingshurst and Crawley rescued the man and his 58-year-old passenger using hydraulic equipment.

Both were taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester and kept overnight with bruising and stomach injuries.

The 52-year-old Midhurst man driving the Skoda was unharmed.
