Children injured after Bolney crash

YOUNG children have been injured following a collision in Bolney on Friday evening (November 25).

Emergency services were called to the scene after the incident involving a grey Nissan Pathfinder and a silver Volkswagen Golf at 5.39pm on the A272 Cowfold Road.

The 28-year-old woman Golf driver, from Southsea in Hampshire, suffered a broken arm and leg injuries.

She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The Nissan driver, a 37-year-old man, along with his passengers, a 36-year-old woman and two children aged one and four, all from Godalming, were ‘slightly injured’ and all taken to the same hospital.

Rescue and recovery work closed the road until 11.30pm.
