A264 lane closed after Faygate

Emergency services have been called to a collision on the A264 near Faygate this afternoon (Wednesday February 19).

Sussex Police were called to the scene, near the Cherry Tree pub, at around 3.15pm.

A spokesperson for the force said the collision involved two vehicles on the Crawley-bound lane.

Both drivers have suffered neck injuries. These are not believed to be life-threatening.

One lane has been closed and could be for some time while a recovery of vehicles take place, added Sussex Police
