Those Magic Changes mean new role for Horsham star

Local artist Nathanael Landskroner has landed his first professional theatre role at the age of 17.

Nathanael was recently cast in the lead role of Melchior Gabor in the National Youth Music Theatre’s 40th anniversary show of the award winning Spring Awakening.

Following his opening night performance he was offered the role of Doody in Grease at The Curve, Leicester. Director Nikolai Foster recently directed Pixie Lott in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and is keen to promote new talent.

NYMT’s Spring Awakening [Curve, Leicester] has recently been nominated for several awards including Best Regional UK production in the 2016 Broadway World UK awards.

Nathanael was recently handpicked to perform at London’s St James’ Theatre at NYMT’s platform showcasing new musical theatre writing and next generation talent.

He also performed at NYMT’s star studded West End Gala at the Adelphi Theatre celebrating 40 years where he was made Youth Ambassador for the 2017 season.

Nathanael is currently in rehearsals for Grease and the show opens on December 7th playing 7 performances a week.

He appeared with the Grease cast on BBC Midland’s Children In Need programme on Friday.
