The Pass restaurant, based at South Lodge Hotel near Lower Beeding, has made it onto the Sunday Times Food List for 2013.
Gingerman, in Brighton, was the only other Sussex restaurant to make the final cut.
The annual list ranks restaurants according to the opinions of thosands of diners.
This year, organisers say they have based the scores on 80,000 reviews from 9,000 customers.
On November 3, the Sunday Times will reveal the complete list, including rankings and overall scores.
