Teen injured as car rolls on roof

A teenager was taken to hospital following a crash in which a car rolled onto its roof.

Emergency services were called to Robin Hood Lane, near the A24 in Warnham, at around 9.30pm yesterday (Sunday November 6).

Police said a 19-year-old woman, who was driving the car, was trapped in the vehicle. She was freed by fire crews and was treated at the scene.

Officers said her injuries were not believed to be serious but she was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The car was recovered by 11.23pm.
