The Tandem Men welcomed back to Pulborough

The Tandem Men called in to St Mary's CofE Aided Primary School in Pulborough this afternoon (Friday, March 24) on the last leg of their 18,000 mile charity challenge around the world.

23 year old George Agate, the ‘stoker’ riding at the back of the bike, was a pupil at the school.

They signed autographs, met the children and spoke about their charities Great Ormond Street Hospital, Water Aid and Porchlight a Canterbury based charity supporting homeless people.

George and his university friend, John Whybrow (25) from Norfolk have spent 290 days in the saddle travelling across five continents and 30 countries on their charity ride.

They cross the finish line at Canterbury Cathedral tomorrow afternoon where they will be met by family, friends and sponsors.
