A LITTLE KNOWN saint, after whom a Sussex village is named, will be the subject of a talk tomorrow (Saturday March 5).
Author Dennis Pepper will speak about St Botolph, who set up a monastery at Botolphs near Steyning in the seventh century.
He aims to unveil the mysteries of who St Botolph was, which king may have given him a piece of land, where that land was and why he was one of the few saints left out of a historic document.
The talk starts at 10am at St Botolph’s Church in Botolphs. Entry is free.
