Sussex paedophile teacher Jeremy Forrest who ran away to France with a pupil is due to be released from prison today (Friday).
The 33-year-old was expected to leave HMP Channings Wood in Devon this morning after serving half of his five-and-a-half year sentence.
Forrest ran away with the girl, who was then 15, to Bordeaux, France, prompting an international man hunt.
The former teacher at Bishop Bell School in Eastbourne was jailed for abduction and five counts of sex with a minor following his extradition from France in 2012.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is now 17.
Following his release, Forrest is expected to move into a hostel in Kent, although it is reported he wants to leave the country due to his notoriety.
He will serve the remainder of his jail term on licence and has been banned from teaching for life following his 2012 conviction.
