Storrington fire caused by workman’s heat gun


West Sussex Fire and Rescue tended to a small fire on a windowsill caused by a workman using a heat gun, yesterday morning (Wednesday, June 24).

Crews from Storrington and Worthing arrived at 9.55am and made an inspection using a thermal imaging camera at the home in East Street, Storrington.

The fire was out on arrival.
