PLANS for a two bedroom bungalow to be built in Nightingale Lane, Storrington, have been refused by Horsham District Council.
Storrington and Sullington Parish Council objected to the plans because it considered the plot to be too small.
The application proposed building the bungalow in land belonging to Ty Gwyn, which is already home to a single storey bungalow.
At a meeting of the development control committee (south) on April 19, Chris Mason (Con, Storrington and Sullington) said: “It’s a very small site. The gap between the two properties is generous on the drawings but not so generous when you are standing there.
“This is not in keeping with the other properties in the area.”
Councillors agreed to refuse permission.
