Following a forecast of winds of more than 40mph, Horsham Market has been cancelled tomorrow (Thursday November 29).

Horsham Markets has issued a statement on social media saying that the market has been cancelled on the grounds of health and safety.

However, it adds: “We’ll be back with the first Horsham Markets at Christmas on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 December with festive food, drink, gifts and carols on the bandstand.”

The Met Office forecast for tomorrow in the Horsham district is for strong gusting winds for most of the day as Storm Diana makes its way across the UK.

Heavy rain is expected for the early morning rush hour.
